Anna Cola lives and works in Turin, Italy. Graduated at Florence and at Turin Academy of Fine Arts, where she specialized in Painting. She was fascinated since her childhood by the power of images, drawings and paintings, and she loves exploring the different contexts of individual and exclusive needs inspired by the magic of the contingent moment.
She exhibited her paintings in Casa degli Artisti (Milan) and worked as Interior design with Studio Toni Cordero Architetto (Turin), for high styled private houses and shops. She taught Editorial Illustration at the European Institute of Design in Turin.
Selected at the Children's Books Fair (Bologna) and awarded at the Mostra Internazionale d'Illustrazione per l'Infanzia (Sarmede, Udine).
Since around 2010 she has been working as a freelance illustration team named AnikiBa based in Turin, participating and being awarded for two consecutive editions of Concurso Montecon Terras Gaudas in Spain.
Their works have been included in the A.I (Illustrators Association) Annual, in 2011 have been selected and published in The Morran Book Project, involved into the Project: JAPAN: messages of hope from picture book artists worldwide, and exposed at Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Tokyo.
